Designer, Creator, Faye Klein

The concept for The Final Word came to me after playing some card games with friends. It began with a single game idea, but it didn't take long for me to realize that a whole variety of games could be developed out of this one deck of cards -- just like there are multiple games played with a traditional card deck. As other games popped into my head, I have worked them out and written rules, refining them since I produced my first prototype. The Final Word was a finalist in the 2017 www.edisonnation.com "Best Toys and Games" competition. And several local school districts have purchased the games for their students.

Currently I'm an independent graphic designer, managing projects from concept through finish. For over 30 years, I've produced award-winning graphics that span nearly every area of advertising and promotion including: Theme, Product and Company Logos; Annual Reports; Brochures and Newsletters; Advertisements and Direct Mail; Packaging; Booth Displays; Signs; Presentations; Web Design; Promotional Materials; Custom Cards; Invitations and Announcements. Almost anything involving graphics for print production has come down the pike at one time or another.

I've won numerous design awards and contests. My work has been published in Graphic Design: USA, American Corporate Identity, DESI Awards Publications, PIA Graphic Art Awards Annual, Branding: The Power of Market Identity, and I've had back-to-back cover designs selected and featured on the Flax Art and Design catalog. I've also won several essay contests.

I'm a Pittsburgh native, and graduated with honors from the school of design at Carnegie Mellon University.
